Curatorial analysis

An incandescent pulse commands the center of the painting: light does not bathe the landscape from the outside, but springs from the background as an emanation tearing through vegetal twilight. Across this enveloping scale, the eye enters a deep clearing where green dissolves into bursts of fiery yellow, rust red, and mineral flashes. There are no horizon lines or geometries anchoring the ground; the entire space operates as a living mass in perpetual organic combustion.

The epoxy acrylic technique endows the surface with tactile density and an almost vitreous vibration. Layer upon layer, pigment builds up in rough, stippled textures reminiscent of spreading lichen and leaf litter, while varnishes and resins trap illumination at different levels of depth. Along the perimeter edges, earth tones and carmine condense into thick shadows that function as a natural diaphragm, constricting the frame to draw the gaze toward that glowing aperture beating in the middle ground.

This tension between the enclosure of the canopy and the dazzling escape in the center transcends mere depiction of a highland setting. Foliage is suggested through staccato chromatic rhythms, where small touches of turquoise and violet act as luminous vibrations that dissolve any sense of measurable scale. The mountain ceases to be a distant topography, becoming instead an immersive experience of shelter and threshold, a passage where the density of the undergrowth seems to give way to a state of luminous silence.
