Curatorial analysis

A vertical glow cleaves the canvas in two and reorganizes the surrounding vegetal chaos. Across this panoramic format two meters wide, light neither bathes the foliage from above nor filters through timidly: it emanates from the very center of the picture as though the thicket harbored an incandescent core of pure yellows and fiery ochres. Toward the base, that luminosity descends as a chartreuse green that intimates a passable path, a clearing through which the eye can enter before losing itself in the surrounding saturation.

All around is a dense tide of crimson reds, burnt earths, cadmium yellows, and sudden flashes of turquoise and violet. The epoxy resin grants the surface an almost geological depth; matter stratifies into layers that alternate vitreous glazes with dense clusters of stippled, almost tactile paint, as if the canvas had been splashed and rubbed without conceding to flatness. A persistent tension exists between the chaotic overflow of marks at the peripheries (where the edges darken into somber browns) and the magnetism of the central axis, which anchors the entire structure and prevents the painting from collapsing into an undifferentiated decorative pattern.

Rather than describing a recognizable physical environment, the canvas operates as an immersion into sensory experience. The reference to the path appeals not to actual topography, but to the optical transit between the oppressive density of the wild growth and the relief of luminous release. In that chromatic transition, matter seems suspended in a state of perpetual vegetal ferment, where every speck of pigment competes to breathe beneath the gloss of the resin.
