In this large square format of nearly two meters per side, the viewer is enveloped by the obsessive repetition of small marks that evoke wild blossoms. Each carries a dark center and luminous edges, shaping a vibrant mass that leaves no room to breathe at the base of the canvas and that, as it ascends, disperses into fainter branches until brushing against the upper margins.

Behind this botanical tide stretches a washed ground of grays, slate violets, and muted ochres, where the acrylic has been handled with extreme fluidity. Vertical dripping dominates that upper backdrop, setting up a rigorous counterpoint to the fleshy, punctuated texture of the yellows. While the background suggests a weathered wall, torrential rain, or the gloom of a waterlogged forest, the blossoms defy gravity, rising like sparks or ignited spores. There is neither horizon nor conventional perspective; space resolves through a tactile play of overlapping and glazing.

The title refers to a path, yet the surface offers instead a territory without fixed demarcation, where the path is the very proliferation of light. This tension between the downward pull of water in the background and the expansive surge of the foreground imbues the painting with an organic, almost hypnotic pulse, continually oscillating between vernal celebration and the mineral melancholy of an interior landscape.
