Curatorial analysis

An incandescent core shakes the geometric containment of the canvas. At the exact center, a burst of vermilion, orange, and pure yellow detonates against a scaffold of greys, earths, and fractured whites. Ramón Chirinos establishes an open pulse between two visual forces: the peripheral architecture that partitions the space into stable planes and an organic whirlwind that refuses to stay within any boundary.

This inner gale is not sheer disorder. It is organized through white, almost calligraphic filaments that coil in tight spirals, tangling with scrapings and black marks made by graphite or dry brushwork. In certain intermediate areas, the acrylic thins to the transparency of a glaze, exposing underlying grids and scattered droplets that act as shrapnel from a recent deflagration. In others, the paint takes on a dense, opaque body that cuts cleanly through the boundaries of each color field.

The scale of the canvas gives this friction an almost physical weight. Toward the left, sober planes of ash grey and brown temper the momentum; toward the upper right, a vertical white wedge appears to tear the pictorial plane like an abrupt entry of light. There is a latent paradox in the title: resignation usually suggests stillness or surrender, but here the wind yields only while leaving behind a visceral trail of friction, marks, and sustained thermal vibration.

The eye finds no easy rest because each neutral zone leads directly back to the warm vortex, and each internal gust rebounds against the structured borders of the perimeter. The canvas thus captures the precise instant when an impetuous force accepts its confinement within matter, retaining on its surface all the heat of its disobedience.
