Curatorial analysis

A convulsed core of chromatic energy destabilizes the apparent geometric calm of the square format. Across this surface of one and a half meters per side, space does not function as a passive backdrop, but rather as an armature of fractured planes in ash grays, whites, and dry blacks that barely contain an explosion of warm light.

This magnetic center, concentrated around the middle axis and subtly shifted toward the right, operates as a living mass where vermilions, fiery yellows, and dense oranges converge. The paint moves relentlessly between the constructive rigor of orthogonal lines and the fury of free gesture: translucent glazes overlap sharp scrapings, while pulverized splatters and nervous markings evoke the calligraphy of an unforeseen event.

Toward the upper right edge, a block of saffron and amber tone breaks the coolness of the surrounding quadrants and establishes a direct dialogue with the central vortex. Light does not strike from an external source or seek to illuminate an identifiable motif; it emanates from the collision of pictorial layers itself, as if matter, through friction, released heat and optical radiance.

This fragmented architecture suggests both an urban landscape shattered by a solar flash and an internal cartography subjected to tectonic stresses. The canvas sustains a tense equilibrium between the impulse to order chaos through rectilinear bounds and the visceral pulse of a medium that insists on overflowing them, leaving the viewer suspended at the exact moment where structure and blast coexist without canceling each other out.
