Curatorial analysis

A framework of orthogonal planes and desaturated tones anchors the edges of the canvas, functioning like a geological or architectural order attempting to contain an irrepressible inner force. In the center, however, this grid of grays, sands, and baked earths yields to a vortex of convulsive signs. Ramón Chirinos places the viewer before a deliberate collision between the calculated stillness of the perimeter and the tactile eruption of its core.

The surface is activated through a dizzying layering of painterly procedures. Large, modulated fields of flat acrylic coexist with fine sgraffito, lively splatters, and decisive impastos of pure white that operate as unexpected sources of luminosity. Calligraphic black threads traverse the masses of color, tying and untying forms that suggest roots, fossils, or fragments of a living structure undergoing reconfiguration. Through this graphic weave, sparks of pure yellow, vermilion, and orange emerge to accelerate the gaze, rupturing the earthy sobriety and endowing the central zone with an almost volcanic temperature.

The title Renacer sobre la Tierra finds here a strictly visual anchorage. There are neither recognizable figures nor stable horizons, but rather the depiction of a germinal pulse cracking through the rigidity of the inert. The canvas breathes between containment and overflow, transforming pictorial matter into a territory where decomposition and emergence are one and the same. This unstable balance, resolved on a scale that envelops frontal vision, holds the gaze in a constant discovery of microstructures that refuse to remain static.
