Curatorial analysis

Transparency does not function here as a neutral support, but rather as an inhabitable volume where forms remain suspended across successive planes of depth. In this kiln-formed glass piece, the initial impact is commanded by a vehement red diagonal traversing the frame from left to right, crossed by a vertical segment that establishes an off-center point of gravity. Over this fiery core, a thick black band spans the width of the glass with the organic freedom of monumental calligraphy, generating an immediate clash between the translucent glow of color and the impenetrable density of the dark stroke.

Toward the left edge, a dark vertical bar acts as a compositional anchor and arrests the momentum of the ensemble, delimiting an internal frame that restrains the horizontal flight. Beneath the protagonist elements rests a curved, grayish shadow embedded within the vitreous mass, widening the perspective toward the background. Minor turquoise brushstrokes, minute orange touches, and a fine spatter of black particles drift around the major bands, like fragments or shards suspended in a still current that disrupts the clarity of the crystal.

The thickness of the glass allows light not merely to bounce off the surface, but to penetrate the piece and reveal the air trapped within. Myriads of microscopic bubbles refract the surrounding clarity, entering into dialogue with the fused enamels. What the title heralds as geometry eludes any predictable mathematical rigidity: the structure draws life from heat and material transformation, freezing thermal fluidity into a solid, luminous block where mineral hardness, the weightlessness of light, and the vigor of the graphic gesture coexist.
