Curatorial analysis

A rhythm at once botanical and geometric dominates this panoramic format, where two hundred and ten centimeters of canvas unfold like a cross-section of a hermetic ecosystem. The eye witnesses a constant vertical drive: hundreds of slender black filaments emerge from the lower edge of the canvas, rising in varying densities and subtly curving at their apexes, each crowned with a carmine dot. This deep, almost abyssal base acts as a substratum of synthetic roots or stamens striving to climb toward the light.

Behind and between these dark stems, the surface fragments into a polyhedral grid reminiscent of mosaic tesserae or leaded stained glass. The chromatic transition is rigorously orchestrated across ascending bands, where cobalt and cerulean blues dominate the lower stratum, gradually shifting into luminous greens, ethereal violets, and mauves, before culminating in an upper canopy of peach, cream, and pale pink tones. Each cell of color maintains its graphic autonomy, outlined by a textural relief that defines the plane and catches light across the acrylic pigment, creating the sensation of living cellular tissue observed under a microscope.

The contrast between the geometric rigidity of the fragmented backdrop and the organic flexibility of the stems produces a singular optical vibration. The red dots, distributed at varying heights, function as rhythmic micro-accents that guide the gaze across the entire horizontal expanse, preventing it from resting on a single focal center.

Jardín de Secreto proposes a territory suspended between the botanical, the geological, and the digital. It can be read as a fossil meadow frozen in glass, a seabed inhabited by bioluminescent anemones, or the internal architecture of an organic circuit. In that oscillation between nature bursting forth and the structure containing it, the surface finds its mystery, a sheltered space where life proliferates according to its own luminous laws.
