Curatorial analysis

An uninterrupted optical pulse runs across the more than two meters of this surface, where thousands of vertical filaments challenge the viewer's passivity. The gaze finds no traditional vanishing point, but rather a continuous vibration simulating a register of light frequencies or an infinitely condensed loom.

The structure is organized through a strict vertical polarity. At the upper and lower edges, the darkness of the background yields to a dense curtain of linear marks, each capped by a subtle bead or suspended node. Above, the pigment ignites in intense vermilions, oranges, and solar yellows; below, the chromatic scale descends into sky blues, cobalt, and broken violets. Both forces converge toward a central band of creamy, white luminosity, where contrasts dissolve into a horizontal glow evoking both a distant horizon and the incandescent core of a flash.

A remarkable tension exists between the rigor of the rhythm and the nature of the acrylic. Although the repetition suggests a systematic metric, the thickness of each line and the density of the droplets present microscopic variations. It is this modulated cadence that lends tactile dynamism to the surface, causing it to oscillate between the fall of phosphorescent rain and the ascent of charged particles.

This dual reading underpins the magnetism of the work. On one hand, the chromatic distribution recalls atmospheric phenomena (a dawn breaking through the night or the refracted glow of an aurora); on the other, the rigorous verticality dialogues with data codes and sound spectrograms. The canvas suspends the observer on a threshold where rhythmic calculation and purely retinal emotion converge with absolute solidity.
