Curatorial analysis

A central spine of pure light fractures the plane and commands the rhythm of the entire composition. Spanning an emphatically vertical format over two meters tall, the surface is structured through a meticulous tessellation reminiscent of both the cellular architecture of a leaf under a microscope and the solemnity of a Gothic stained-glass window. These polygons do not submit to a rigid grid; instead, they follow an organic logic where brilliant yellows and warm amber tones cluster along the core, gradually diffusing into olive, moss, and shadowy greens toward the margins and the summit.

From the lower tier, steeped in deep blacks, a cluster of dark, slender filaments rises upward. These delicate stalks, capped with small, luminous orange bulbs, function as vectors of an unmistakable biological impulse. While a dense layer stays clustered at the bottom like an impenetrable undergrowth, only a select few stretch toward the heights, weaving gently alongside the ascending golden glow in an almost reverent upward reach.

The acrylic paint lies flat and controlled, favoring clean-edged, matte planes over textural impasto to heighten geometry and cadence. The work's visual friction exists between the stillness of the mosaic ground and the energetic charge of the vertical lines, whose dot-like terminals scatter an array of suspended sparks throughout the expanse.

Viridis proposes an inquiry into growth, photosynthetic circulation, and the concealed geometries governing plant life. By translating the microscopic into architectural scale, the canvas turns cellular energy into a hypnotic encounter, decoding living matter into radiant light, cadence, and calculated form.
