Augusto Nouel structures this relief through the rigor of the grid and the incision of reflective planes, utilizing brass bars, copper elements, and sheets of polished steel to test a visual apparatus operating between optical physics and the synthesis of an astronomical landscape.

In the upper half, a sequence of copper-toned slats outlines by subtraction the circular silhouette of a morning or evening celestial body. This geometric orb does not stand isolated: it directly interferes with a specular plane that distorts the reflection of the surroundings and multiplies horizontal lines. The gaze cannot settle on a single focal point, as the mirrored steel casts back the viewer's own space transformed into luminous slits, while the copper retains a tactile, opaque, and rhythmic warmth.

The lower section contrasts that ascending sphere with a calculated architectural gravity. Satin brass strips fracture along a slightly displaced vertical axis, casting sharp shadows against the deep black.
