Curatorial analysis

A centripetal vortex pulls the gaze toward the yellow disc dominating the center of the canvas. In this epicenter of dense light, an elongated feline falls or dives weightlessly, suspended in an elastic twist with outstretched claws. Surrounding this solar core, space fractures into a kaleidoscopic perspective: ogival vaults, colonnades, flame-like arches, and staircases that seem to invert or spin endlessly. At the zenith, a vaulted corridor crowned by a floating chandelier introduces an arrow pointing to the descent, as if the viewer were simultaneously gazing upon the dome of a mystical temple and the bottom of a gravitational well.

The painting's facture dialogues with the logic of stained glass through bold, continuous black outlines partitioning the canvas into triangular and radial sections. Rather than flattening the image, however, the acrylic reveals a tactile and dense body within, built through textured brushstrokes, small impasto touches from the palette knife, and incised grooves that capture light with physical sheen. Chromatic contrasts are stark; blazing magentas, turquoises, and purples clash against earthy oranges and emerald greens. Along the perimeter, the iconography multiplies into visual enigmas, such as the star enclosed within a geometric frame on the left and, in the lower right corner, a radiating wheel whose ornamental design recalls both cathedral rose windows and the intricate filigree of traditional oxcart wheels.

Opposite the free-falling russet feline, a second creature with dark bluish fur and multiplied limbs perches in the upper quadrant. Its large, phosphorescent eyes survey the scene with the impenetrable stillness of an esoteric sentinel. Between the plunging body and the stationary witness, a diagonal of intense psychological tension is drawn. This duality transforms the chromatic exuberance into a true oracular setting, where dreamlike architecture bends before the magical presence of the visionary beast.
