Curatorial analysis

An overflowing luminosity governs this oneiric vision, where fantasy architecture scales impossible cliffs overlooking an ocean ignited by the setting sun. The yellow radiance of the celestial body and its fragmented trail across the deep blue water establish a forceful luminous anchor, dividing the scene between two conical formations of strident green. Rather than adhering to the rules of Euclidean perspective, the planes fold and overlap through ramps, suspended staircases, and curved walkways that defy earthly gravity.

The architectural volumes, defined in vibrant pinks, oranges, violets, and ochres, recall medieval citadels hybridized with organic shapes. Pointed arches, rose windows, and small turrets articulate into a playful labyrinth, firmly outlined to segregate fields of pure color that interact through thermal contrast. Within this suspended setting, a brotherhood of dark felines wanders in apparent serenity: they cross aerial bridges, rest on polygonal rooftops, or stand watch from the heights, operating as the sole conscious inhabitants of a silent metropolis.

The water below does not act merely as decorative background, but as the reflective, abyssal counterweight to the surrounding saturation. The small boat anchored at the lower-left shore suggests a route of arrival or escape, highlighting the nature of this enclave as a mental island, a haven constructed on the exact threshold between waking life and pure invention. Within its thirty-by-thirty-centimeter scale, the spatial concentration produces an almost kaleidoscopic visual density, where every corner reveals an antechamber, an opening, or a path that deliberately postpones any resting of the gaze.
