Curatorial analysis

A nocturnal void, in a deep indigo blue that softens faintly toward the bottom, serves as the stage for a rigorous volumetric fiction. In this weightless space there are no terrestrial footholds, but rather a system of tensions where light seems to emanate from the calculated forms themselves, revealing an architecture suspended in full optical transit.

Visual prominence is seized by a tubular structure banded in yellow ochre and black. What begins in the lower sector as a rectilinear, angular scaffolding, governed by the isometric discipline of the plane, undergoes an unexpected mutation as it rises: the rigid profile bends and transforms into a sinuous body, a modular serpent that undulates through the air with seamless material continuity. Each stripe traces an impeccable spatial twist through millimeter-precise gradients that lend the curve a tangible, almost tactile density, defying the two-dimensionality of the canvas.

Superimposed onto this kinetic display is an orthogonal framework of a spectral nature. A vertical bar, pristine and white like a beam of light, crosses the upper quadrant and meets a translucent horizontal band cutting through the undulation. At the ends of this axis float two spheres in inverted dialogue: on the left, a dense orb shaped by a cold shadow floats in isolation; on the right, a bright disk is framed and embraced by the arch of the curving ribbon, acting as the luminous core of the interaction.

The pictorial surface renounces any trace of gestural brushwork. The acrylic settles with industrial neatness, where the human touch yields to geometric precision, allowing tonal gradation to modulate space without material hindrances. Ultimately, the composition does not describe a static object, but an ongoing oscillation between the weight of illusory volume and the lightness of pure light.
