In this encompassing canvas, corollas and stems exceed their natural proportions to match the human torso, subverting the traditional hierarchy between subject and landscape. Flesh and petals share the same translucent matter, an oil handling that operates through aqueous glazes, brisk washes, and vertical drips where pigment descends freely down the surface.

Toward the right, chromatic density deepens into a shadowy green that holds the figure. Her face and limbs linger in an indefinite threshold, treated with floating brushwork and a soft sfumato that blurs contours into an ethereal physiognomy. In contrast, the left quadrant bursts into a plant-like luminosity of milky whites, tart greens, and pale yellows. Small linear incisions in red and orange strokes disrupt the field like surface abrasions or preliminary guides, fracturing the softness of the transparencies with a nervous, graphic vibration.
