Curatorial analysis

Color bursts without hesitation across this landscape where geography seems to pulse with an almost hypnotic vitality. Departing from botanical or topographical conventions, the terrain arranges itself through undulating ribbons of luminous greens and blazing yellows that evoke agricultural terraces or furrows in perpetual rhythmic motion, guiding the eye toward a horizon contoured by hills tinted in magenta, ochre, and purple.

Along the hillsides, groves of rounded canopies blossom in dense clusters of paint worked into tactile relief. Each foliage cluster functions as a textural buildup (solar yellows, lilacs, magentas, and moss greens) that contrasts sharply with the clean, flat expanses anchoring the ground below. The twisted, dark, and solid trunks ground this chromatic spectacle before the sweeping curves of the earth dissolve all sense of gravity.

Above, a golden sun commands a blue expanse that is anything but flat: a surface paste textured with spirals and swirls imbues the atmosphere with a continuous tactile hum, as if the air itself trembled under the heat. This luminous vibration connects directly with the rolling ground in the foreground, establishing an intimate synchrony between sky and slope.

The painting proposes an Edenic and celebratory vision of rural nature. It presents a geography gently tamed by aesthetic curves, transforming the mountain into a realm of purely sensory joy, reminding us that the landscape can also be conceived as a state of boundless chromatic fullness.
