Curatorial analysis

Blue operates here not merely as an ambient tone, but as a hydraulic force that saturates the entire square meter. Through shifting viscosities of fluid acrylic, the surface behaves like a body of water subjected to extreme pressures, where the paint does not merely depict waves or a mountain range: it embodies its own physical motion. The pigment currents travel in horizontal strata, generating a liquid architecture that challenges the viewer's visual equilibrium.

Toward the upper third, a series of sinuous folds evokes orographic ridges or a convulsed marine horizon, bathed in a celestial light that seems to filter from within the support itself. Just below, the matter abandons its laminar stillness: cellular effervescence, splashes, and upward filaments emerge, resembling the foam of a breaking wave or the sudden burst of an underwater geyser. This middle zone concentrates the highest voltage of the canvas, an arena of friction where cobalts and ultramarines collide with turquoise glazes.

At the base, the canvas introduces a deliberate break from the hegemony of blue. A sedimentary strip surfaces in ochres, mustards, and violet glints, its material appearing to have settled by gravity toward the bottom. This band acts as a telluric platform that holds the weight of the watery mass above and returns the gaze to a recognizable geological scale, much like an exposed seabed or a mineral shore.

Under the title Fuero Vital, the surface suggests a sanctuary of primal immunity, an intimate reserve where biological energy and natural elements replenish themselves free of external interference. It is a landscape that bypasses figurative anecdote to turn the material flow into direct testimony of an ungovernable vitality, suspended between introspective withdrawal and the imminence of overflow.
