Curatorial analysis

A vortex of naked limbs, backs, and torsos rises at the center of the canvas, anchoring a multiplied anatomy that seems to merge into a single living trunk. The almost academic precision with which these bodies are modeled contrasts immediately with the twilight, turbulent atmosphere encircling them. Above them, an immense winged mass fans outward, evoking both the lush canopy of a tree and the imposing wingspan of a raptor or night bird, saturated with mossy textures, rust tones, and constellations of organic splatters.

This tension between human flesh and untamed biology is fractured by deliberate intrusions of the everyday and the artificial. Scattered across the dark foliage float metallic paper clips, suspended weightlessly, while torn pieces of notebook paper drift or fall in the foreground. This juxtaposition of prosaic office debris with an image of mythic resonance destabilizes immediate interpretation, shifting the piece away from classical allegory toward an estranged, psychological dimension.

Light operates here as an alchemical force emanating from the physical contact of the figures themselves. From their intertwined heads and hands bursts a luminous, vaporous discharge, a milky veil that sweeps downward in an arc toward the right edge, where another fragmented body seems to dissolve into the abyss. The background, dominated by dense violets and deep blacks, heightens the sense of cosmic isolation, as though this metamorphosis were unfolding in a timeless void.

By suspending monumental figures within an environment of altered gravity, the scene suggests a contemplation on the vulnerability and confinement of contemporary existence. The body serves not merely as a biological vessel, but as an archive of mundane marks, a document subject to filing, and a remnant striving for transformation before dissolving entirely.
