Curatorial analysis
A column of naked bodies ascends or plunges in weightless suspension, held within a markedly vertical format that tightens the tension between fall and rise. Limbs multiply, interlock, and merge; reaching arms seek a hold toward the heights while torsos and legs, rendered with rigorous anatomical chiaroscuro, seem to condense into a single organic mass that defies gravitational laws.
The background establishes a strict chromatic stratification. Dense, cosmic night dominates the upper section, punctuated by flashes and subtle circular arcs evoking planetary orbits. Toward the center and the base, the space warms progressively into a field of luminous ochres and earthy yellows, where the pictorial surface turns uneven: meticulous glazes coexist with drips, splatters, and patches of thick pigment simulating geological crust or atmospheric turbulence.
Across this hybrid territory between sky and earth, a network of filaments drawn with cartographic precision links imaginary cardinal points, typographic notations, and minute inscriptions. Incorporating these coordinates transforms the canvas into an astronomical navigational chart or a topographical codex, where the cluster of figures ceases to be merely a gathering of exposed anatomies and becomes an expedition cast into the vastness of a mapped universe.
This juxtaposition of vulnerable flesh and cold geographic calculation invites multiple readings. The title suggests a collective journey, perhaps a primal exodus whose destination remains uncertain against cosmic scale. Toward the lower right edge, a tiny shelter drawn in white anchors the memory of the terrestrial realm, while the bodies sustain their orbital drift between stellar gloom and the warmth of the void.
