Curatorial analysis

The body of the animal does not function here as a passive conveyance, but rather as an organic architecture in constant mutation. Its earthy ochre back unfurls like drapery to reveal inhabited cavities, while the torso of the central rider emerges seamlessly from the beast's very flesh, acting as both its helmsman and extension. This chimera, half-frenzied steed and half-severed carousel toy, strides suspended in mid-leap over a cratered sphere, defying gravity within a nocturnal vault that seems to drift outside time.

An ascending diagonal anchors the energy of the composition, directing the eye from the hind legs, tapered like stilettos and spiraled shells, toward the roaring head that breathes fire. The animal's tense ferocity, heightened by a red star on its brow and a mane tipped with mechanical crests, collides immediately with the hieratic calm of the upright woman. Simultaneously, the secondary figures articulate an introspective rhythm: one emerges holding the hindquarters like living fabric, while another leans pensively within the hollow niche of the flank, attended by small birds in flight.

The background vibrates through a stippled acrylic handling, where touches of deep blue, mauve, and salmon flecks construct a dense cosmic atmosphere, watched over by a crescent moon. Against this textured pictorial environment, the hybrid's body possesses a sculptural, porous solidity, modeled with disciplined tonal gradations. The scene suggests an interior passage where the innocence of the carousel, animal drive, and the architecture of the subconscious converge, staging a voyage that seeks no geographic arrival, but rather the vivid physical embodiment of a lucid reverie.
