Curatorial analysis

A playful and unabashed weightlessness takes over every corner of this enclosure. Instead of obeying habitual physical laws, the interior space curves beneath an immense glass dome that opens to a cerulean sky flecked with light. Three orange felines inhabit the scene with utter nonchalance: one is suspended mid-leap in midair, another slides or drifts along a sinuous ribbon of organic furniture, while the third lounges in a hemispherical chair that seems anchored merely by convention. Around them, translucent glass vases levitate in suspension, frozen in an impossible fall.

The space is organized through a forced, almost wide-angle perspective that stretches the floor into geometric plates of yellow, pink, and ochre. This architectural distortion directs the gaze toward the apex of the dome, whose latticework introduces a meticulous graphic rhythm that contrasts with the broad expanses of flat color. The orange columns and purple openings do not function as load-bearing barriers, but rather as scenic frames revealing the luminous void beyond the lateral windows.

The acrylic paint lies in dense, saturated layers with crisp contours and virtually no atmospheric gradations, where bold black linework defines each form reminiscent of a pop graphic aesthetic. It is the extreme tonal contrast (magenta clashing against acid green, blazing orange pitted against cerulean blue) that generates optical volume and energizes the entire surface.

Rather than mere suspended domesticity, the scene suggests an alternate universe where feline indolence finds its ideal playground. The absence of gravity strips the bourgeois interior of its rigidity, converting this designer salon into a dreamlike terrarium where time does not pass, but floats suspended in an everlasting moment of play.
