The body suspended upon a single spoked wheel immediately disarticulates the serenity of the domestic interior. Under the weight of heavy folds of ochre and terracotta cloth, the female figure does not walk: she balances like an enigmatic mechanism in the middle of a room bathed in mustard tones. Her gaze, attentive and directed toward the half-open piece of furniture, traces a silent vector linking architectural confinement with the overflowing vegetative surge dwelling inside the wardrobe.

To the left, this cabinet with slender legs and warm woods renounces its utilitarian function to become a portal opening into a deep, humid rainforest. The dense dark foliage, crowned by mist and the distant drop of a waterfall, fractures the closed perspective of the room with an unbounded horizon. Two macaws with scarlet and blue plumage mark the boundaries of this transition, one perched atop the swinging door and the other on a striped upholstered chair, establishing a vibrant chromatic dialogue with the crimson mantle enveloping the woman's head.

The mixed media deploys vaporous textures and earthy glazes across the walls, whose roughness emulates the weathered patina of aged stucco. Toward the far right, a tear in the plaster reveals a winged emblem, while a deep archway hints at steps leading toward a deserted chamber, multiplying the planes of escape. The work articulates a reflection on transit and introspection, transforming everyday space into a porous frontier where the uncanny and vegetal memory coexist with absolute naturalness.
