In Camila, Rafael Fernández constructs a female figure absorbed in the strumming of her guitar, crowned by a monumental headdress where vermilion, magenta, and golden sparkles erupt. This almost votive structure transforms the intimate act of playing an instrument into a ceremony suspended in time.

The ascending diagonal of the guitar neck cuts across the plane and disrupts the torso's frontality, guiding the gaze from the turquoise brilliance of the right sleeve toward the porcelain hands grazing the strings. On the surface, the screenprint superimposes layers with remarkable graphic richness: smooth, flat planes on the skin coexist with mottled textures, optical scrapings, and transparencies on the wooden body of the guitar and the veil. The dove emerging on the left, white and synthesized, dialogues with the curve of the headdress and reinforces that ethereal quality.

The cobalt blue of the blouse and the floating whiteness of the skirt anchor the figure in the lower third, offering a pool of calm before the visual fire of the upper realm.
