Curatorial analysis

A continuous trace of metal suspended in space strips the body of its weight, turning it into pure three-dimensional drawing. In this female figure over three meters in height, the material does not seek to enclose or contain mass, but rather to delimit it through loops, bindings, and elliptical curves of wire painted in a muted carmine tone. The anatomy is suggested through a breathing network: the breasts, the sinuous arch of the hip, and the twisted torso emerge as accumulations of linear density, while the limbs and the upper reaches dissolve into open undulations that dialogue with the sky.

The structure rests upon a vertical rod that serves as an axis and technical anchor, yet the visual reading avoids any geometric rigidity. The metal line acts like an organic pulse winding over itself, knotting at precise points to gain resistance without losing gestural freedom. Being an entirely openwork form, the boundary between the figure's interior and its surroundings is erased. The background (the window glass, the lower foliage, and the diffuse light) cuts straight through the body, causing rain droplets and the soft sheen of the metal to integrate into a visual weave that shifts with the time of day.

This porous condition completely alters the perception of its monumental scale. Despite its imposing height, the volume does not block the horizon or exert an oppressive force; it floats like a shred of air, a contour that seems to have been drawn on the wing with living wire. The body here becomes a transparent presence, an almost graphic resonance oscillating between the industrial solidity of metal and the extreme fragility of a silhouette that lets the wind pass through.
