Movement does not merely describe the figure: it disintegrates it. Across this markedly horizontal canvas, a female body caught in mid-turn seems to shed its physical density, turning into a gust of light and matter. The face, poised and calm, serves as the sole figurative anchor amidst a storm of fractured brushstrokes sweeping across the pictorial plane in an ascending diagonal toward the upper right.

This tension between stillness and vertigo governs the entire scene. While the facial features retain a subtle, almost sculptural modeling, the limbs and torso fragment into faceted planes of color that evoke the kinetic dynamism of Futurism. The arm reaching toward the upper right corner does not resolve into a distinct hand, but rather into ridges of pigment that tear open the dark background, showing how the pictorial gesture emulates the resonance of the musical impulse suggested by the title.

Tonal contrast divides the atmosphere into two contending forces. Toward the left and upper sections, luminous yellows, broken whites, and olive greens flood the plane, dissolving contours into an ethereal glow.
