Curatorial analysis

A fractured keyboard spans the canvas horizontally, cleaving the atmosphere into two densities of fire. It is not an inert instrument; the keys twist, float weightlessly, and dismantle under the touch of a being whose anatomy seems carved from living wood or patterned with fingerprint whorls. Suspended between childhood and myth, this creature with an unblinking gaze does not perform an expected melody; it seems to extract sound by forcing the material until it breaks.

The surface burns with a chromatic modulation shifting from a deep, shadowy burgundy at the top to a vermilion and amber glow below. Amidst this visual firestorm, the rigid cadence of the classical keyboard collapses. On the left, the hand grips a still-recognizable melodic order; on the right, by contrast, the sequence rises in an undulating ribbon, its keys breaking away like airborne splinters to reveal a luminous abyss at the center. The figure's skin, articulated through a filigree of curving lines and arabesques reminiscent of wood grain, contrasts sharply with the cold, angular geometry of the pale and grey keys.

This duality between imposed geometric structure and organic impulse grants the title, Búsqueda, an immediate physical resonance. The creature seems to emerge from the incandescent background not to perform a pre-existing score, but to disassemble the very conventions of musical language. Its eyes do not track its hands: it looks straight ahead, engaging an unseen horizon while the keyboard dissolves into autonomous fragments. It captures the moment when rules and formal training can no longer contain one's inner voice, compelling creation to arise directly from the fracture.
