Curatorial analysis

An imminent impact dominates the square format of one hundred and twenty centimeters. Rather than capturing a conventional bullfighting scene, the surface erupts in a burst of geometric rays rising from the lower collision point, projecting yellows, oranges, and reds outward to the edges. In this vortex of incandescent light, two anatomical forces converge: a massive bull charging diagonally from the lower left corner, and a silvery horse arching in mid-air, twisting its torso in an elusive, airborne maneuver.

The medium is structured through planes of crisp, faceted color, setting aside soft gradations in favor of an angular breakdown of form. The bull's mass is condensed through charcoal tones and deep grays, interrupted along the spine by electric touches of vermilion and cyan that resonate with the background's thermal intensity. Against this earthly weight, the equine figure unfolds in a cool spectrum of luminous grays, sky blues, and golden reflections. Its anatomy elongates in a dizzying torsion, with the black mane whipping like shredded wind while the horn seeks the exposed flank.

All visual tension concentrates within the narrow threshold separating the horn's tip from the horse's belly. That millimeter of suspension turns the ferocity of combat into a rhythmic choreography. Vanishing lines and sharp acrylic cuts heighten the sensation of velocity, propelling the bodies in opposing directions with centrifugal power. The square format contains yet compresses this energy, stripping away any recognizable horizon to isolate the two battling beasts, detached from ring, riders, or spectators.

What emerges is a vision where brute force and gymnastic poise remain suspended at the absolute peak of acceleration, capturing that precise second in which pure momentum defies gravity before the final clash.
